چکیده
Objective: This study aims to determine the triggering role of parvovirus B19 (PV-B19) in pathogenesis autoimmune thyroiditis adolescence.Materials and Methods: Thirty-five patients aged 10-18 years who were diagnosed with Hashimoto's last 6 months included study. As control group, 35 healthy volunteers without PV-B19 associated acute disease, no goiter physical examination, family history thyroid normal function tests recruited. Serum samples tested for IgM IgG antibodies DNA. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS.Results: positive 4 (11.4%) 5 (14.3%) controls whereas present 13 (37.1%) (17.1%) controls. DNA detectable 11.4% (n:4) 14.3% (n:5). There significant difference between patient groups terms antibody polymerase chain reaction positivity. In logistic regression analysis, free thyroxine level (p:0.021), anti-thyroid peroxidase (p:0.005), isthmus thickness (p:0.021) found be effective on positivity. Conclusion: Previous infections may one triggers Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.

Biology of Porcine Parvovirus (Ungulate parvovirus 1)
Porcine parvovirus (PPV) is among the most important infectious agents causing infertility in pigs. Until recently, it was thought that the virus had low genetic variance, and that prevention of its harmful effect on pig fertility could be well-controlled by vaccination. However, at the beginning of the third millennium, field observations raised concerns about the effectiveness of the availabl...

Parvovirus B19 infection can present with myriads of clinical diseases and syndromes; liver manifestations and hepatitis are examples of them. Parvovirus B19 hepatitis associated aplastic anemia and its coinfection with other hepatotropic viruses are relatively underrecognized, and there is sufficient evidence in the literature suggesting that B19 infections can cause a spectrum of liver diseas...
متن کاملParvovirus B19 in pregnancy.
Parvovirus B19 is a widespread infection that may affects 1-5% of pregnant women, mainly with normal pregnancy outcome. The prevalence of infection is higher during epidemics - between 3 and 20% with sero-conversion rate of 3-34%. Infection during pregnancy can cause a variety of other signs of fetal damage. The risk of adverse fetal outcome is increased if maternal infection occurs during the ...
